The hotel feels cozy and the room is spacious with a stylish design full of decorative touches that catch the eye, while the panoramic windows showcase a lovely view of Ankara’s old town and the bespoke breakfast menu was a highlight. Occasionally a terrible sewer smell drifted through the bathroom, and the breakfast start time was unclear – the front desk said 6:00 am but the restaurant began at 7:00 am, which mattered a lot to us arriving with a four‑hour time‑difference.

I had a great stay at the Lugal Hotel in Ankara and would highly recommend it. What really stood out was the exceptional staff across the board—from the front office team to the porters and housekeeping, everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their service made the experience feel seamless and very comfortable throughout my stay. Breakfast was also amazing—an excellent variety and quality that made for a perfect start to each day. The hotel itself is well‑maintained and offers a refined, quiet atmosphere—ideal for both business and leisure travel. One minor point for improvement would be clearer signage to the Health Club (including the spa, gym and swimming pool), which was not immediately easy to find.
