The king‑size room was a good size and comfortable and spacious, and the shower flow was good, but the breakfast wasn’t great and the waffles didn’t cook well; the blankets and sheets in the room weren’t clean and you could see stains on them, the paint on the door and wall was chipped, the carpet was filthy and my son’s socks turned black from walking on it, and the fridge was leaking water.

The location was awesome, close to gas stations, and there was complimentary breakfast and firework views; other beds were great, but the sofa bed was not a proper bed, it was just a mattress topper; the AC unit worked, but not well enough; the body wash fell off the wall and hit my noggin; the freezer turned my ice‑cream sandwich into a milkshake.

The hotel is close to everything, but I couldn’t get an ADA room with a shower, which was a let‑down.
