There was nothing to praise—after the first night of chaos I left the next day. The owner seemed unsurprised that we wanted to leave, as if this is how they make quick money. The room was below standard, and the bathroom was shocking: the toilet roll holder was broken, the shower was filthy with visible mold and dirt, and I had to buy Domestos to clean it myself. The difference after cleaning was obvious, proving how neglected it had been. I would not expect to clean a bathroom myself when paying to stay at a guesthouse.

Nothing to compliment—it's disgusting. I was supposed to stay six nights, lost money, and booked elsewhere immediately. This is the worst place ever. No phone charger, no bedside lamp, dirty black mold everywhere, and Wi‑Fi so slow you can't even send WhatsApp. The owner even claims people lying or being opposition. I'm a music teacher in the North West and have nothing to do with Tzaneen. Check my photos; they don't lie.

I couldn't find anything good here—just the fact that I could drive in and out of the property. It was a health hazard: mould everywhere, especially on the shower roof and the air‑conditioner, so black that I was scared to turn it on. The towels were threadbare and stained, and the floor towel in front of the shower was so disgusting I avoided touching it. I booked somewhere else but only got a room the next day. That afternoon we told the cleaning lady we didn't want room service; she said we had to discuss it with the owner, Samantha, because she had to clean the room. Samantha refused to scrub the bathroom ceiling and insisted we stay on the bed, claiming she had an extra key and that the staff would be quiet. The cleaning lady looked mortified, and I lay on the bed while the owner and the cleaning lady walked in—an invasion of privacy. I lost the money for a four‑night stay and had to book another place immediately. Please don't waste your money here. There's no dustbin, no cutlery—just one mug and a plastic spoon, no glass or plate. No bedside lamp, no extra plug, only a plug for the kettle and fridge, and another at the top for the air‑con and TV; no phone charger. The cupboard is falling apart, and the curtains keep falling off when you close them. This is terrible, terrible, terrible.

Honestly, there's nothing to say. The filthiest place I've ever seen—cheaper hotels have cleaner bedding and bathrooms. I don't know why they keep dusty curtains when there are already blinds that look dusty and untouched for years. I arrived late in Tzaneen, tried to find another accommodation but couldn't. We woke up with bedbug bites and had to go to the pharmacy first thing in the morning. I left something behind after checking out, and when I returned the beds were made with the same bedding—does that mean all guests share the same sheets? The place is failing; no one deserves that.
