Villa Duraku

“Good hotel for family. Friendly staff.”

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they helped us arrange a transfer to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view, and there’s a lounge downstairs. The internet works well, so it’s suitable for a working holiday. The beach is just a 10‑minute walk away.

The location is good and there’s a safe motorcycle parking; the hotel looks nice from the outside. The owner is very approachable and helpful, and the price was reasonable. The downside is that the air‑conditioning is very loud, so we had to turn it off at night to sleep. The shower is awful; there’s no stall, so we end up flooding the floor and toilet when we shower. The faucet runs hard, and the balcony can’t be used because the air‑conditioning unit on it is too hot and noisy. On the plus side, clothes dry quickly there. We found it odd that you have to take off your shoes before entering the hotel—if you’re wearing full motorcycle boots it becomes a real hassle.

“Top vakantie. Mede de super vriendelijke familie”

The apartment sits close to the sea and restaurants, and the family running it is incredibly friendly.

This place was amazing and totally worth the money; the host Sabina was lovely, the rooms were perfect, and there was plenty of space and toys for kids—plus the beach was just next door!

I had an incredible stay; Sabina was so kind, the room’s view was stunning and spotless, there was ample parking, and the beach was only 400 meters away—absolutely loved it!
