“No return from me.”

The kitchen was very good, and the waitress was nice and spoke excellent English. My brother and I stayed in rooms 206 and 208; 206 had a terrace but no table or chairs, which was odd. The curtains in both rooms were too short by about 60 cm on either side. The alarm went off early, and the hotel clearly needs an upgrade. The toilet in my brother’s room wouldn’t flush—quite unpleasant. Wi‑Fi worked for a while but was down in the evenings and mornings. The breakfast was poor.

The room itself was fine, but the air‑conditioning never seemed to work right. It kept getting either too cold or not cooling at all, which made the night uncomfortable. I wish a functional AC had been included for the price.

“Einladend gemütlich, auch für längerem Aufenthalt geeignet”

After my navigation app struggled to locate the hotel, a very friendly receptionist helped me with my bike. The building has no lift, but the stairs are wide and not too steep, and the room impressed me with its parquet floor, tiled bathroom and a decent size split between sitting and sleeping areas. Everything was spotless, and I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, though the music in the dining room was louder than I’d like.

“Dersom du trenger overnatting i Dimitrovgrad - velg et annet hotell!”

I really couldn’t find anything to like about this place. The moment I stepped inside I was hit by a stale, sour‑smelling smoke and a hint of mould. It made the stay pretty uncomfortable.

“РАЗОЧАРОВАНА И НЕДОВОЛНА СЪМ”

The hotel’s location was spot on for my travel plans, which was a plus. Unfortunately the room reeked of mould and the air felt dead‑still, as if no one bothered to ventilate it before I arrived, even though I’d booked well in advance. It felt like they took my money before I even saw the room.
