“Historic Charm and Friendly Staff”
The staff were great, and the historic home was amazing. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt like a real step back in time. Breakfast in the morning was solid, and we all felt pretty special. I liked everything.
“Cozy Nights and Great Host”
This property is beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. We spent evenings in the lounge/dining room with the fire going and a nice bottle of red wine we bought on site. The room was comfy, breakfast was fantastic, and Gaele was a lovely host who would highly recommend staying here.
“Charming historic room with great breakfast”
The Aberfeldy room was a real treat – the historic building was dressed up to the nines, every little detail seemed thought out. Gaele’s cooked breakfast hit the spot, and the hosts were spot‑on. Would definitely send anyone my way.
“Nice Building, But a Few Hiccups”
The building itself is lovely, and the town has a lot of history to explore. On the downside, the place is up for sale, and the hosts seemed a bit over it. The shared bathroom can get crowded when the house is full.
“Stunning House, Terrible Experience”
The house was stunning and kept very neat and tidy, and the Walhalla area was beautiful. Unfortunately, the owner locked us out the night we arrived, and we spent 15 minutes trying to open the front door. We ended up sleeping in the car in freezing cold. The next morning she was incredibly rude, insisting she had left the door unlocked, but it was clear it had been locked. She didn't ask if we were okay or apologize, and she stayed rude for the rest of the weekend.
