I was lucky to be near the event I was attending, but the check‑in was a nightmare: the front desk lady insisted I had been sold a room I couldn't get and claimed the price was wrong. The hotel, marketed as a 7‑8 star, smelled stale, and the bed felt like a brick—no sleep at all.

The rooms were spacious and the hotel itself was decent, though breakfast wasn’t included; you could buy a few items. The general manager was very friendly, yet they charged me for staying past 1 am, and the front desk staff were not at all pleasant—no smiles, just a look like they were annoyed. I have a name for the person but don’t want to mention it.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly. The room had a few maintenance issues, but nothing major; it was clean and affordable. The room did feel a bit run down.

I appreciated that someone was always at the front desk ready to answer questions. The only downside was the lack of a pool and the outlets in my room didn’t work, but a maintenance person came and fixed it, so that was fine.
