The staff were some of the friendliest I've ever met - always smiling and willing to lend a hand.
The view from my room was simply breathtaking, with the majestic Himalayas towering in the distance.
The property is nestled in a stunning setting, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and serene trees that create a sense of tranquility.

“Enjoyed our stay.”
The location and facilities were excellent, but the food fell short.
“Overall I wouldn’t recommend.”
The property’s location is good, yet everything feels overpriced and the Velcro on the bedsheets keeps you from sleeping.
“Lchang Nang left a lot to be desired”
Lchang Nang sits in a beautiful spot and is quiet and serene; the rooms are comfortable and well designed, though the seating seems more aesthetic than practical. The staff and overall experience lack the warmth and attention to detail expected from a luxury place; I found a plastic bottle in the private garden attached to my room and had to ask the staff to remove it (see picture). The restaurant food is awful: on my first night I ordered Thai curry and rice and received raw curry paste, which I had to return; the server offered no apology or explanation and only brought it back after minor fixes. The breakfast spread is low in quality and variety for the price. For my birthday we booked a ‘Stargazing and Barbeque’ at the dunes for an extra 25k; while stargazing and the dune setting were lovely, the food was disappointing—raw chicken and a gritty chocolate mousse. The property seems built on good ideas, but the execution needs a lot more work to justify calling it a luxury retreat at this price.
“Very nice place to stay in Nubra valley”
The place is simply stunning with breathtaking mountain views from every window; the staff are polite and helpful, the meals taste good, and you catch a glimpse of Ladakhi culture that enriches the stay; walking to the peaceful Samstaling monastery is a nice daily hike.
Everything about the stay was wonderful; the staff were very polite, especially Kaushik ji and Diplaj ji who made it memorable, and the food was exceptional. Thanks to the whole team.
