The view is stunning, the staff are wonderful, and hygiene was good. Breakfast was decent. The bedding is horrible and the building is extremely noisy; bring earplugs if you want to sleep.

The sauna and view were good. The mattress smelled and you could feel every spring, plus there was a stale odor in the room.

The whole staff couldn’t speak German and couldn’t give any information about hikes just outside the hotel. The personnel had no idea about the area and how to behave with guests. It’s a nice, old hotel but the spirit is missing. There is no smoking area on the entire property, not even on your balcony (and they threatened a 1500 fr. fine everywhere). We had to walk to the village square because smoking guests were not welcome. The outdoor park is beautiful, but only ghosts live there. There is no spa as the hotel’s short guide describes; only a sauna is available.

The location, staff, facilities, spa, gym, etc. were all great. Cruz was an absolutely wonderful host and very friendly; I’ll definitely come back. There was really nothing to complain about.

The breakfast selection was great, the room was comfy, the shower water pressure was solid, the staff were friendly, and the view from the room was fantastic. Nothing to complain about.
