“Buena estancia y localización.”

The bed was comfy and the location was good, overall a pleasant stay, but a kettle or something to boil water would have been nice because there were tea bags but nothing to heat water or make coffee; the shower water tends to leak out of the screen, so adding a stopper or filling the gap where it escapes would make the shower more comfortable.

Parking was right outside the door with our motorcycles. The Italian restaurant under the hotel was fine. The staff were friendly and we were able to check in earlier than expected. There is no breakfast option inside the hotel (we already knew that beforehand, so it wasn’t a surprise). But it’s not a huge problem either, because 100 m further down the street there’s a bakery where you can have breakfast and coffee; you just have to step out the door for a short while and the bakery might not be open every day.

“Hotel mit dringendem Sanierungsbedarf.”

The proximity to my family’s house was a plus, but the room was a small loft on the third floor with slanted ceilings and no lift; the furnishings were cheap and old, the TV didn’t work, the hair dryer was weak and broke, the blinds beside the bed wouldn’t lower, the ancient carpet in the hallway smelled bad, I saw no hotel staff for three days to complain, and all of this for 83 € per night feels outrageous.
