I was pleased with the spot close to the beach, but the food was awful, breakfast was barely anything, and the pool had too much chlorine.

Nothing. The stay was cancelled six hours before arrival, and the hotel or Booking offered no compensation.

The room was spacious with a lovely balcony, and the indoor and outdoor pools were good; parking was generous. Breakfast was varied and high quality. However, the mattresses and pillows need replacing, and an electric kettle would be handy—water hot requests seemed to bother the staff. The beach isn’t very close, and there’s no umbrella or lounge chair service. They charge 10 euros in cash for each towel for the pool or beach, which would be more convenient if they accepted cards like other hotels.
