The owner is very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast is great and varied. Overall it’s a nice, authentic spot near Takayama city center and close to the station. It’s a bit old-fashioned but well maintained.

The stay was amazing: clean rooms, authentic vibe, and they kept the Takayama culture alive throughout the experience. The people running the place are just too kind :)

The older couple who run the ryokan are truly sweet and welcoming. We felt very much at home.
