The place was spotless, but the phone number listed on the brochure didn’t work and the room key was locked.

The hotel sits right next to Uptown Mall BGC and the Catholic Church, just a short walk away, and it’s probably the cheapest option in the area. Across the street you’ll find BonChon and McDonald’s, or plenty of stalls if you’re looking to save on food. The staff were all smiles and super helpful, especially Jhun who kept lugging my heavy bags for me. The room was adequate for a budget stay: it had an electric kettle, fridge, slippers, a dental kit and towels. They also swapped out towels and linens for free whenever you asked. The hot and cold shower was spot‑on. I stayed there for about 15 nights. The only tiny gripe was that the blanket was crisp; I’d have preferred a comforter or duvet. The shower curtain could use a darker shade so the stains aren’t so obvious, and it’s a bit longer than it should be.
