I was blown away by everything, especially the saunas; those who don’t want to see other people’s genitals can use the swimsuit‑only sauna. The only hiccup was parking – my car was a kilometer away from the hotel.

The breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of choices, the room was clean and you could get daily housekeeping if you wanted, and apart from the pool‑side rooms on the first floor the rooms were perfectly quiet despite the nearby road because the surrounding park blocks the noise, unless someone watches TV too loudly—in that case you can call the 24‑hour front desk, which also has German‑speaking staff. On the downside, the minibar was empty, you could only buy alcoholic drinks at the desk and you weren’t told until after you paid that you could only drink them in the lobby, which makes the glasses and mini‑fridge in the room pointless, and parking is only available through a ticket machine; you have to get a new ticket at 09:00 because you can’t resolve it in the evening.

Everything was superb: friendly staff, immaculate rooms, a rich and varied breakfast buffet, and a lovely pool. The only issue was that the beds felt a bit hard.
The pool water was pleasantly warm, but the bedding was uncomfortable.
