“Bad choice”
The drinking water dispenser in the check‑in office was a funny fixture, with a quirky type and color. The front desk staff were cold in their greetings and overall communication, which was doubly irritating after discovering the poor quality of the room they apathetically checked you into. The room smelled like a marijuana hot box; the bath towels were old, crusty, very dingy, and stained with what looked like many years of other people’s grime. The biggest issue was that the door didn’t lock—you didn’t need a key to enter. The hotel owner suggested everything would be OK if you just stayed in the room and used the latch lock, which was comically ridiculous. Besides the lack of enough parking spots for all guests and the complaints above, I still feel that after experiencing the Blue Marlin first hand, I made a tragic choice in booking a stay here. The place is an overall junk hotel barely fit for the purposes of the dregs of society—the criminally honest type.
