“Pleasant stay with a brilliant location”

The location is fantastic, just steps from the lake and the funicular, with the mountains right behind the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely refreshed, and free parking was a huge bonus. The staff were friendly and the Salt Mine discount was a nice touch. However, the room was fairly basic and didn’t include a mini‑fridge, which would have been useful. The hotel itself isn’t particularly modern in style, though everything was clean and well maintained.

“敷地内に専用の駐車場があるのが、便利！”

The reception staff were helpful and pointed out photo spots. Breakfast was average. The location allowed me to walk to the photo spots before breakfast. In the morning there were few people, and the walk was wonderful. There is a balcony, but since I don’t smoke, I didn’t use it. The hotel grounds have a free dedicated parking lot, which was very good. Because I was driving, I had to study the route to the hotel on Google Maps beforehand. I missed the turn onto the narrow road near the tunnel and passed it. Google Maps showed a back route, but when I tried that, a pole was right in front of the hotel, blocking the way, and I had to back up onto the narrow road. I think extra caution is needed when driving to the hotel.

The location is fantastic, close to a supermarket, the funicular, and within walking distance to the old town. It was great that we could park our car for free for the entire stay.

“Pretty Guesthouse”

The guesthouse is charming, located near a pretty promenade, a supermarket, and the Saltmine funicular (Salt Welten). It was the first opening of the funicular, and we received a discount card from the reception. The walk to the guesthouse with heavy suitcases was far, but still pleasant, and it would have been helpful if the staff had informed us about this and offered town‑transport options for arrival and departure from the ferry.
