Top accommodation! Close to the center but quiet, good beds, the best shower in Peru, a secure parking lot, and the price/quality matches. The breakfast buffet could still improve.

“Un bon rapport qualité prix sans être inoubliable.”

Breakfast was really good, with fresh fruit juice, avocados, and the usual selection of breads, cold cuts, and jams. The room wasn’t very big but it opens early and the stoves are lovely. The room was quite decent for the country’s standards. The hotel is not far from Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city. The Wi‑Fi is fine but gets slow when everyone uses it. We were on the third floor, and there was a somewhat noisy device in the ceiling or roof, like a ventilation or air‑conditioning unit running all the time, a deep hum that made the house feel like it was breathing. It wasn’t unbearable but sometimes it was disturbing. The hot water sometimes took 1–2 minutes to arrive, but that’s Peru, right? ;-)

The receptionists were great, and breakfast was superb – I loved the veggie towers.

“Average hotel walking distance to center”

It wasn’t too noisy at night even though it’s right on a busy street. The night and morning staff don’t speak English at all but they’re very nice. Unfortunately we couldn’t check in earlier because the hotel was fully booked. We took our breakfast to go – a juice, banana, and cookies – and it was a 15‑minute walk to the main plaza.
