“Really nice comfortable place”
The space was nice, quiet, and comfortable, but I wanted hiking tips and ended up figuring it out on my own.

The property has a swimming pool and is in Gabala, a beautiful spot, but otherwise I barely enjoyed my stay. I had high hopes for scenic mountain views, a balcony, and a quiet, private experience with my kids. Instead, I discovered that the place is actually a private house where the owners live and rent out individual rooms. I was first shown a basic ground‑floor room with three beds and no view or balcony. When I pointed this out, the owner said the rooms with those features were upstairs and would cost extra. I was already paying 121 AZN for the night. When I tried to cancel, the owner threatened a fine. When I mentioned leaving an honest review, he replied, “Write whatever you want. I don’t care about bad reviews.” His attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. It was already evening and I was traveling with my children, so finding another place was hard. I eventually paid extra for the upper rooms, bringing my total to 200 AZN for one night. Breakfast was another letdown: only basic bread, butter, a few fried eggs and Azerbaijani tea—nothing like what the price suggested. The biggest issues were the lack of privacy, the surprise extra fees, and the owner’s dismissive behavior. Essentially, you’re renting a room in someone’s home, not a conventional hotel. If you value privacy, comfort, and personal space, especially with kids, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I wish the listing had clarified the type of accommodation and which rooms actually had the advertised views. For 200 AZN, I expected a far better experience. This was one of the most disappointing stays of my trip to Azerbaijan.

Not much to say. The room lock was broken, so I couldn’t close the door. It isn’t a hotel but a guest house, and the owners live in the house, making noise until midnight. Warm water was not available during my stay.

The room was clean and very comfortable, and the view from the room was good and lifted my mood.

The house was amazing—spacious, comfortable, and clean. The girl who attended us was charming. The pool and billiards were a bonus. There were a few chairs outside the restaurant that gave a provisional feel, but that was a minor detail.
