Having a large public bath was a real treat, especially since the rain had left me chilled; the ability to stretch out in the tub was a relief. The interior was stylish, and the bike rack added a cool vibe. The outside view was beautiful, and the summer ski resort looked absolutely lovely.

Even though check‑in was noticeably delayed, the staff welcomed me warmly. I enjoyed spending time with the owner during my stay, and the breakfast rice balls were delicious. The bath was lukewarm, and the shower would suddenly turn off.

The lodge sits right next to the ski area and the main lift/gondola. The on‑site restaurant served amazing food! We couldn’t explore the whole area because of an injury, but the family that runs the place was wonderful, and we’ll return.

The owner and his wife were very friendly, and when we checked out they even dropped us off at the ski shuttle! The communal bath was a truly local soaking experience, the house meals were plentiful, and the wife’s curry was fantastic. There were no complaints.
