There are no shops nearby, and the slope is steep if you want to head into the downtown area.

The onsen was beautiful, the laundry let us wash and dry our clothes, and there was plenty of games and manga, with nothing in particular to complain about.

The Nagi collaboration was decent and the accommodation was fine, but the hotel sits on a mountain making meals and other things very inconvenient; I wish the booking site let me pick the Nagi room and arrange a shuttle bus to pick me up.

Having four massage chairs available for use at any time was great, breakfast was delicious, and even though check‑in was at 17:00 I arrived an hour early and was welcomed warmly; checkout at 10:30 let us linger comfortably. The only downside was the lack of a hot‑coffee service, which would have been nice.
