The rooms were spotless and quiet, the bathroom always had hot water, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The only downside was that breakfast wasn’t offered in the morning.

We stayed in a 3‑bedroom house that was spacious; Diane went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The back of the property featured a breathtaking garden and scenery, and all amenities were supplied, including a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities with the necessary equipment. We even received chocolate biscuits as a nice touch. The highway trucks kept us awake at night, which was unavoidable, and the bathrooms needed upgrades. The grass was too long, so we couldn’t picnic in the beautiful setting.

We stayed in the Valencia guest cottage, it is a 3 bedroom unit. It is very spacious & can comfortably accommodate 6 people. It has 1 large shared bathroom & toilet (shower & bath) which services 2 rooms, both with single beds in them & ceiling fans. The main bedroom has a king size bed and a large ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet & a ceiling fan. The Linen on the beds is lovely!. It is a fully self catering unit. The kitchen is large and spacious, we did not cook there, as it was a short stay, so I am unable to say if it has all the necessary kitchen cookware & utensils, but at a glance it looked like it had the basics as well as a Microwave, kettle, small fridge & air fryer, cant remember if it had a toaster, but it probably did). There is a TV with Netflix in the small open plan lounge/dinning/kitchen area where you can enjoy a meal. It has one double couch a cane armchair & coffee table. The Valencia cottage is situated on the side of the property, close to the side of the highway that runs past the property. From the two rooms with single beds, you can hear the traffic go by, but it was not a huge problem for us as it was not deafening. You cannot hear it from the main bedroom, because of the location of the ensuite bathroom. There is a table and 6 chairs where you can sit outside, that leads off of the main bedroom or laundry room. The laundry room has a washing machine, ample counter & cupboard space as well as a small washing line to hang your washing outside. There is a pool on the property that is situated in front of the main villa, which is huge and a large grass/garden space that overlooks an orange orchard and place for cars to park. The Hostess and staff are great, they responded to any needs that we had, promptly. We were also supplied with a hair dryer & a large spotlight, which we did not need to use. There wasn't much I did not like about staying at the Valencia Unit. Recommendations that I can make. -To place a glass holder in each bathroom to place your toothbrush & toothpaste. -A little side table is needed in each, where you can place your toiletries. -The pillows looked beautiful on the bed, but you are unable to sleep with them as they are too high for your neck. -The internet is spotty and buffered while trying to watch Netflix, it is not sufficient for online work or kiddos, wanting to play online games on their phone or to play x-box, but if this is not a requirement for your work or family its fine. -There are no carpets throughout the cottage, only small towel mats for when you shower. (this is a preference of ours due to the chill in the winter months as the cottage has tiled floors throughout). This could help drown out the sound of the traffic late at night. -The location is great if you don't plan to do a lot of doctor/dentist appointments or shopping in town, as its not easy to just pop back to the guest house in between waiting for each family member to get their stuff done. It is a 15minute drive as shown on google maps just off of the highway on your way to JHB. The road to and from Nelspruit is a bit dark at night, if you don't like to drive at night or you plan to go out drinking and return late
