I stayed in a clean, modern spot that really felt like a nice place to stay. The staff were friendly and quick to answer questions, and the app and website worked great. We were excited about the teckels, and breakfast was good. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi only lasted about 5 minutes, and we couldn’t find a baby cot even though they said one was available. Also, there was no voucher for breakfast, but a phone call sorted that out.

The location was superb and the atmosphere was charming, evoking old Vienna with its creaky floorboards, historic façade, and beautifully renovated interior. However, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work consistently, the heating seemed inadequate—perhaps it wasn’t bled—and the rain shower was weak. The safe had a “Defekt” sticker that was already peeling off, indicating a long‑standing issue.

The accommodation was lovely and had a unique feel across two levels. The only drawback was that there was no information about the breakfast being offered at a bakery 250 m away; a clear notice would have been helpful.

The baker’s staff were very friendly. The downside was that breakfast was served outside the house, 500 m away, which was impossible if you’re disabled, and dogs weren’t allowed.
