We were greeted very nicely and the arrival and departure went smoothly; everything was explained well. The room was fine and the bed comfortable. They gave us a free bottle of sparkling water, and the Wi‑Fi and TV worked well. Our dog was welcome, which was important to us. However, the facilities and functionality felt outdated and needed occasional updates; there were a few spider webs and wool moths in the corners of the room, otherwise it was reasonably clean. Two shared kitchens and shared fridges were not mentioned in the description.

The room was very tidy, the owner was very friendly, and dogs are allowed for an extra fee. The house itself is very old; I read the reviews but didn’t expect it to have that distinct old‑house smell. I was okay with that and with the old furniture, and it has a certain vibe. But for those with allergies or higher expectations it could be a drawback. I felt it was a bit overpriced for the quality offered.

The bathroom appears freshly renovated. The spring‑spring frame in the right bed is likely broken; every movement creaks and the mattress is quite saggy. The bathroom was missing soap at the sink, even though the description says free toiletries are available.
