The hotel was super convenient by car and close to the lake, which made for a great boat ride. However, our rooms were a real disappointment - they smelled bad, the bathroom supplies were lacking, and the toilet seat was broken (which we did mention to staff when we checked out).

The property is pretty big and great, and the breakfast is nice, especially the veg options. However, I felt that the AC capacity in my room was a bit low considering the room size.

Huge thanks to the kitchen staff for their amazing work, and my suite room was big and clean - that was a definite plus. On the downside, the front office staff were incredibly unfriendly, and the pool was a disaster with slimy water and a filter that wasn't working one day, despite me reporting the issue.

I stopped by Haveli Backwater Resorts for a night and it was an okay stay, but didn't blow me away. The suite room was spacious, but the bed felt small for our family of four. The food was just average, and I think I would've liked a backwater property like Sterling or Ramada better for their beautiful locations.
