The fitness centre surprised me with its quality; the machines are modern, which made my workouts enjoyable and gave me a good variety to try. Unfortunately, the hallway outside the rooms gave off a fishy odor as soon as I opened the door, which was quite off‑putting and seemed likely to get worse over time unless better ventilation or the source of the smell is addressed.

The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the location was scenic and quiet, though I wish there were more food options nearby. Also, a water dispenser would have been a nice addition.

The hotel is top‑class with professional staff, large and comfortable rooms, and free items in the minibar, plus nearby shops and restaurants. However, Google Maps misled me: it shows the hotel as centrally located in Gochang near the old fortress, but in reality it sits several kilometres outside the town centre, in the “Wellpark”.
