The bed was comfy and the room was clean, but I stayed in room 1, which had no TV, no Wi‑Fi, and didn’t meet my expectations. The pub was gone, breakfast was served in the café, and overall the facilities were lacking, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

The breakfast spread was generous and my wife adored it, though it cost more than we expected because it wasn’t included in the room rate; we missed the field to note our breakfast preferences until later, and we would have liked the service to start earlier.

“Do not stay in this place!”

There wasn’t much to praise, but the family room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated, the shower was hot, and the river’s sound outside was pleasant. The pub, however, didn’t match its website: no bar, no dining room, and we were the only patrons. Paul, the new owner, was rude and set a gloomy tone from the start; a booking mix‑up could have been handled politely but wasn’t, and he told us to make our own beds because it was “women’s work,” which is absurd. He couldn’t use his coffee machine and gave me instant coffee instead. The “warming fireplace” in our room was just a hole in the wall. I could list more, but we decided not to book again; it might have ruined our holiday, yet we laughed it off and enjoyed our time together.

Nothing to say positively. The place was closed, no info was provided, and it had been shut for a while yet was still advertised, which feels like fraud.

“Nice small venue, lovely breakfast nice room very comfortable bed”

A lovely spot beside the river in a small village, with a very friendly owner. Some construction was happening, but it didn’t disturb our stay.
