We had two rental bikes and good Wi‑Fi. When we asked, they gave us an extra blanket and the communication was flawless. The stairs to the apartment are steep and narrow, which matters if you have a lot of luggage or difficulty climbing; we had no trouble and the host was helpful.

The apartment is a little outside, very nice and quiet, but the bikes available make it easy to reach the city centre. One small issue: the slope on one side of the bed is quite deep.

The host was very friendly and the kitchen was top‑class and clean. Free rental bikes were available but not in perfect condition. The small room is on the top floor of a private house where you’re alone. It has a bed, wardrobe, table, chairs, sofa, TV, its own kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen supplies salt and pepper, garbage bags, dish soap, drying and washing cloths. Free street parking is available and there are plenty of towels. The bed and linens were very clean. In the kitchen there is no proper oven, only a microwave with an oven function, which is perfectly adequate for making breakfast rolls. The bikes are not in best shape and it takes a bit to get into town on them. In the immediate vicinity there are almost always dott‑Bikes (e‑bikes for rent, of course more expensive) that you can use to get into the city. The toilet is a vacuum toilet like on a plane or train; the flush is loud, but it didn’t bother us and everything worked great. A few good hanging options for wet towels or swimwear are missing, and there is only one blanket for two people.

The area, the hospitality, and Linda’s availability were great. The apartment was comfortable, quiet, and had everything needed.
