The top‑floor apartment was very clean, huge, and offered superb views of the Danube. It’s close to the city centre and riverside restaurants. When showering, water leaked in the middle of the bathroom, apparently coming from underneath the bathtub, and there’s a huge step to the balcony door.

The location and cleanliness were good. Overall I was satisfied with my stay at Hotel Vega, but the last night was unpleasant. The window handle was loose and almost detached, so I reported it to reception. The maintenance person who came had a visibly annoyed, unfriendly attitude; he noticed the issue, shut the window, and left without fixing the handle. In a hotel of this caliber, both the technical problem and the way guests were treated should have been handled with more care and professionalism.
