“great place to stay”
The rooms were spotless, came with a mini fridge for food and drinks, and breakfast was excellent! Everything else was perfect.

Grand Rising, breakfast was amazing and the service was appreciated; I arrived around 4 pm on the 19th and the receptionist who checked us in—though I can't recall his name, I remember he wore a burgundy shirt, had gold‑short curly hair, was an African American gentleman—was unbelievably helpful and made us feel welcome and loved, which I truly appreciated. I also loved the little sliders for dinner; you really show care for your guests. Thank you for the experience at Avid Hotel in Portland, TX. I only wish you had tubs; the shower was great and I love the DOVE soap, but a tub would have been nice.

The beds were comfy and breakfast was good, but they charged me twice, then when I called they forwarded me to an international line and I ended up paying an extra 150 on top of that.
