Mini-Hotel Kyivskyі

The location is super central, right across from the National Opera. The room was always very comfortable and tidy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. The official air‑raid shelter is the metro station about 150 m away, but the hotel has deep underground levels where you can also sleep on an inflatable mattress if you’re nervous. Ask reception for more details. The photos show the spectacular view of Kyiv from the room window 🇺🇦🇺🇦. I would have liked a bit more English, maybe printing notices in both Ukrainian and English would help. The hotel is on the 12th floor, so you have to be careful, especially with the possibility of shattered windows if there’s an explosion nearby. Unfortunately that risk isn’t the hotel’s fault but comes from Russia’s terror.

The place is simply the best, the rooms are also convenient. The pillow was such that it was uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was good.

The whole mini‑hotel isn’t bad, the location is very convenient, walking to the center is about a short distance. There’s a shared kitchen for all rooms. The staff girls are friendly. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and everything you need is in the room. We were given a room with a view of construction/inner courtyard, which was a bit unexpected because we thought all rooms would have a better view, like the theatre, for example. The shower water is bad, it’s very noisy when it fills up or something with the drainage system. The rooms have poor sound insulation, everything is very audible.

Clean, neat, plenty of towels, there’s a water bottle in the room. The hotel has a shared kitchen where you can drink free coffee/tea, a fridge and a microwave. Great location. It was stated that the bed was double, but in fact it was two shifted mattresses. The hotel is in a regular multi‑storey building on a high floor. The sewage system has a pumping system, so every time water drains in our room or in the neighbors (toilet, sink, shower) the water is very noisy.
