The owner’s customer service was exceptional and made me feel at home, but the bed was too small.

The owners greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home, and my room at The Nest was spotless and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. When the place is fully booked, however, the shared kitchen can feel a bit cramped, and the ground‑floor rooms aren’t soundproof, especially since they’re close to the stoep and braai area.

Even though the owner wasn’t on site, he sent clear instructions ahead of time for checking in and out, and everything I needed for a pleasant overnight stay was supplied. I liked everything.
