“A dirty , ill maintained place with poor service, I will never return.”

The smiley, helpful young lady at reception when we checked in. The rooms are disgusting, badly maintained and dirty. The picture below shows the carpet from the first room they tried to put me in. The service in the restaurant was shockingly bad. They sat us down at our table and then ignored us for 20 minutes without even a glance or asking us if we wanted a drink, let alone order any food. When we got up to leave having not even had a sip of water, they continued to ignore us so we went to the bar [where we did manage to get a drink quite quickly] and ordered a takeaway on Uber Eats instead.

We were coming back from a wedding and the gate was closed, the guard was sleeping and we had to wake up our friends who had arrived an hour before us. We had agreed to leave the hotel at 14:00 but we had to leave at 12:00 anyway, we didn’t want to argue but it was not correct.

“Hôtel confortable bon rapport qualité prix”

Calm, accessibility, room size and breakfast are good. I asked for my IHG points to be credited. The person promised to do it. For now I see nothing on the site so I’m not sure the front desk kept its promise. The exterior and interior look a bit dated.

“Bien”

The place is clean except for a few forgettings, the staff is professional. Noise at night, door slamming, and early morning clatter from a spoon in the dirty room, plus dust on the blinds and hair on the toilet paper holder.

“Prima locatie voor de doorreis!”

Extremely friendly lady at the reception who was very correct and spoke excellent English. She helped me reschedule my booking after I made a mistake. No comments.
