We found the place clean, nicely situated with a great view, and the breakfast was solid; the whole vibe was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly – definitely worth a return trip. The downside was that we had to walk up the stairs to the entrance, which could be a problem for older folks.

The bed, breakfast, view, and staff were all great, but the steps were a nuisance and there’s no shop nearby.

The location was perfect – you can catch a bus from Scala and it’s close to good hiking trails. Everything was spotless, with fresh towels every day, and the breakfast buffet was good. The staff were welcoming and even upgraded my room to one with a sea view. If you want peace, choose Grikos.

Everything was spot on: the location, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, just 50 m from the beach, Greek‑style taverns close by, and a generous breakfast. It’s worth staying at least seven days to enjoy the island’s spiritual beauty and the beach.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the views were fantastic. The property sits on a steep slope with steps, which might not suit everyone. Grikos has only a handful of restaurants and no shops or supermarkets, and the bus service to Skala is limited.
