“Bien situé mais beaucoup trop bruyant”
Well located and the bedding was comfortable. The rooftop was nice. The noise was very, very loud.

The stay at Skylark, Aluma Hotels & Resorts was very pleasant. The location in Athens was good, and the hotel offered a comfortable stay. Overall I was satisfied with the service and the value for money. The stay was generally pleasant, and especially the rooftop bar is a nice spot to take a break and enjoy a coffee. Unfortunately, the windows were often left open at noon, letting cold air in and making it uncomfortable. I felt guests were more inclined to sit outside, so I ended up preferring to drink my coffee outdoors. It would be nice if more attention were paid to maintaining a comfortable temperature and guest comfort. With a few small improvements, the hotel could offer an even better experience.

Breakfast was very good and it’s right in front of the metro station. Around the property there are homeless people, drug addicts, and prostitutes, at least there’s a security service in the hotel. The rooms aren’t really tidy, the windows barely block sound. I would never book a balcony again (only smokers and loud).

The roof terrace and entrance area are sleek and attractive, which is why I booked this hotel. It’s centrally located, not the best neighbourhood, but you can walk to the university district and the staff are helpful. The room is small, on the courtyard side with a concrete view; the window is broken, it’s cold, and I couldn’t get heating even after asking. The bathroom is black and the fixtures look stylish but I couldn’t verify their cleanliness. The shower is cramped and everything gets wet. Overall, I felt quite uncomfortable in the room, especially for the higher price point. I travel for work a lot and know several hotels in Athens.
