I found the place very pleasant, a blend of old and new, very calm and pretty.

It’s cozy and they try to make an effort, but they had to come pick us up so we could find the cars at night, it’s noisy with the EHPAD girls smoking and chatting, they forgot our breakfast so the butter was missing… it’s too risky to leave without the car.

I really liked the outside and found it very friendly, but the place needs a lot of work, the windows are damaged, and there are some noises whose source is unclear; on top of that there’s no air‑conditioning, so during the hot days the room feels awful even with the ventilation column.

The hotel disappointed because of its location and overall condition; the photo can mislead since it sits directly on a noisy main road. There’s no air‑conditioning, so when it’s hot in Portugal you have to open the windows, and without sound‑proofing it’s impossible to sleep, not to mention the mosquitoes. The room is simple but clean, yet the building is falling apart and left in its current state. It’s a shame because it used to be a beautiful typical manor, now it’s attached to a modern building (a nursing home built on the same plot).
