The beach was beautiful, the restaurant good, the pool nice, plus a supermarket and a washing machine were available.

The view is stunning and there’s no traffic noise, but the place feels a bit dated; it needs a proper renovation. It’s not bad, but it looks like it was last updated in the 70s, though the Thai style is timeless so it’s hard to tell.

The reception staff were friendly and gave me free transport to the next hotel after the first night, but the hotel itself was terrible. I booked 5 nights and paid, yet had to leave after one night because it was unbearable. The photos of the property don’t match reality. The pool was in the middle of the restaurant with no loungers; only four old, dirty, broken loungers at the bar. No private beach or loungers there. The location is remote but the bay is beautiful; the low tide in April made swimming impossible. Standard rooms smelled of sewage, furniture was very old and fragile, and there was no shower—just a shower head that made the whole bathroom wet. The terrain was too steep and not suitable for kids. Noise from a tourist group from Israel (men) ruined our night; they played basketball until 4 am, making sleep impossible. The staff were unreachable by phone and didn’t intervene or warn the group. In short, I booked five nights, stayed one, slept none. With my 8‑year‑old daughter, nothing was reachable on foot. “Grab” doesn’t exist on the island; taxis are too expensive (1000 B. from the harbor to this awful hotel). The travel cost to the new hotel was offered by a kind lady at reception. It’s not worth it for the beach. NO!

For the price it was a disgrace; reception staff were rude and unfriendly, communication was terrible. We paid 175 € per night and there wasn’t even soap. The jacuzzi was broken, the room was filthy, and after the shower the whole place was flooded. Not recommended. The old, dirty loungers were broken and there were only five. Breakfast was bad and required extra payment; the coffee machine only made a decent normal coffee.
