La Joia Anjuna

This spot is amazing and surprisingly not crowded; the staff are fantastic, and the vibe feels like a beachy resort with wooden floors, thoughtful design, and great showers. Every morning the breakfast is fantastic, and for the price you can't find a better deal. The property is tiny—just four rooms—so it won’t have the full range of amenities a big resort offers, but it’s a charming, lovely hotel right on Anjuna Beach. Check out Elephant Café (run by the same owners) and Café Antonio nearby.

“Waiting to come back!!”

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly positioned just a few steps from the sea. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and the whole place felt relaxing. The staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Breakfast was included and absolutely wonderful, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options each morning.

The location is excellent, the staff are attentive and supportive, and the place is tidy. The bathroom, however, didn’t have a door—just a curtain—which might be fine for couples but we were making friends, so it was a bit awkward, though otherwise it was okay.
