“Tegenvallend.”
Nothing positive. The hotel is generally very old and basic. In the room there’s almost no space to move around the bed. The room was locked with a simple interior key, offering very little security. The hotel’s outer door stayed open 24 hours a day, with no security—everyone could wander in and out. The room’s décor is very outdated; it urgently needs new wallpaper, some patches are missing, and the carpet should be replaced. The radiator is blocked by a wooden fence. Cleanliness is questionable: the bathroom looks shabby, the light in the vanity above the sink didn’t work, the shower base was basically a half‑seat without a non‑slip mat, and the tiny bathroom also had a bidet with no tap, so unusable. Mold appeared on the grout at the bottom of the shower base. Breakfast was basic, and the staff in charge wasn’t friendly; we didn’t get a simple “good morning.” We also questioned the building’s fire safety. Our room faced the flat roof of an annex, where a ladder—presumably usable to get from the roof to the ground floor—was present, so there was no fixed fire escape. Admittedly, for the price we paid, we didn’t expect a five‑star accommodation, but it was even less comfortable than a dormitory. It was truly out of date. We even considered driving home after our event, but due to the late hour, the long distance, and our fatigue, we stayed the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
