We arrived late, after 10pm, which I did communicate this to the front desk prior to arrival - we arrived and they originally did not have my reservation . This was resolved by the time I made it down to the front desk the next morning before heading to breakfast. We did have to spend our first night in an 'off-line' room, which was not terrible. Lindsay the Manager at the front desk was AMAZING and so helpful throughout our entire stay. Any question we had, she was able to steer us in the right direction and her suggestions were perfect for our stay! Being in the middle of downtown was EXACTLY what we wanted! Walking distance to ALL the FUN!. Communication between and Hilton - for some reason the night staff at the front desk was unable to see our reservation, which was a pain, as we just traveled 6 hrs in a vehicle and all we wanted to do was sleep 🤪

The setting was nice and the pillows/cotton were good, but the shower was awful and the air conditioning was noisy and intermittent, with the water temperature jumping from super hot to cold without any middle ground for more than a few seconds.

A historic building that’s kept up well and has a lot of character, but the room was pitch dark and offered no view at all, and I thought it was wildly overpriced.

The place had a lovely old‑world charm and beautiful architecture, and I found nothing to complain about.
