Close to my daughter and family. Breakfast, pool, and hot tub were great, and housekeeping was very friendly, taking care of soiled towels and trash every day. I have knee problems, so going up and down the stairs several times a day was tough, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

The spot is easy to reach from the freeways and close to restaurants, but the room was far too dark and the smoke detector was missing.

Live in Mpls, perfect halfway spot between Mpls and Duluth. Just enough stores in town, if you forget something. Within walking distance of coffee, fast-food, restaurant, liquor store. Most of all I LOVED the staff. Immediate attention to an issue in the pool area with another guest and my daughter. Also, we had a unique situation where I booked a room 1 day early because I didn't know when I'd arrive, due to work and personal circumstances causing delay We were later than expected and they called to check on us. I will use this hotel again,simply for the people. I work in aviation, and you don't get genuine hotel staff all the time. Breakfast, pool, coffee, lobby, bathrooms outside of room, easy parking, hotel in very close proximity to parking lot, and it was QUIET!. Room had a lot of moisture. It was hot and rainy, so that could have been it. Also, there is not an elevator

Parking was good, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was fine. I was charged for a late checkout without being told about the fee or the time limit, and the front desk staff seemed confused—one new employee thought I’d already been informed, but she didn’t help. She mentioned the staff had gone to clean the room, which is why she had to do it herself and then charged me a lot. The pool was fine except for kids throwing balls; there’s a machine that sells balls but no parental supervision. The indoor pool had glass windows that let the balls fly around, which wasn’t ideal.
