The hotel had a slightly old‑fashioned charm, quietness, originality, beautiful surrounding nature, friendly staff, and a natural breakfast; however, the shutters closed poorly, the curtains didn’t block light, the bathroom was very small with a tiny shower, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The breakfast only offered a chocolate roll, croissant, half a baguette, coffee and jam, nothing else—never had such a bad breakfast. The room was uncomfortable, lacked air conditioning and a fridge, yet they claimed it was a better room and tried to charge extra. The whole night was noisy from the busy street and a train passing through a valley; the toilet seat was broken and slipped, injuring us, something the cleaning staff should have fixed. This hotel is definitely not recommended.

We couldn’t get breakfast on Saturday morning because only one person was serving the whole hotel, so after waiting 45 minutes we left without eating due to a funeral we had to attend; the breakfast team was badly organized—just as we were about to leave, a new shift arrived at 9:00 am while a single worker had been handling everything alone since 7:30 am, and the new staff responded to us aggressively even though we had politely explained our time constraint.
