The location is amazing right on the beach, the staff are wonderful and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. The hotel offers many activities, has a real rustic beach bungalow vibe, is very quiet, and provides many unexpected comforts. Wifi is great, occasional power cuts never last long, mosquito nets help, and the breeze plus fan keep you cool. We’ll never forget our time in Anakao. Mazatoa! I would have liked to stay longer. One thing I’d mention is that locals are relentless in trying to sell tours and souvenirs on the beach; you need to be firm with them. It can feel a little claustrophobic, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, and they don’t bother you when you’re on hotel property.
