The location is excellent. The staff were courteous and helpful. Coffee, tea, and an electric kettle were available in the hallway, and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was covered in cobwebs, and there were clumps of long black hair on the sheet. There was no desk in the room, and the kettle in the hallway lacked a water dispenser—so to fill it you had to walk all the way to your bathroom, which is a hassle after a full day of mountain hiking.

The setting is beautiful and the interior has a unique vibe. I booked a small room, but it contained a large wardrobe, dresser, chair, and an exceptionally comfortable bed that I’d rate extra points for—no other hotel has offered such comfort. The bedding was pleasant to the touch. The only drawback is that the bathroom could use a shelf, even a freestanding one, for toiletries (a woman might have a few items even if staying just a day). We didn’t use the shower, but it seems a bit high for shorter people and could be lowered slightly.

From the outside the building looks nice. Inside it was filthy, with sticky floors, dust, no light, and a nasty bathroom smell. I reported the issues to staff, but the owner did not intervene.

The hotel is close to Rynek. The walls are extremely thin.
