We had a lovely stay with my partner at BuchackerAlm – the place really lets you unwind, enjoy the Tyrolean scenery, and taste some amazing food. Sleep was a breeze, the whole vibe was calm and peaceful. The only hiccup was that you can’t drive straight in; you have to park about 5 km down the road and hike up roughly 700 m. We took the paid shuttle because we arrived in a storm, but it didn’t take away from the charm.

The setting was gorgeous and everything was spotlessly clean. The downside? Our room didn’t actually have the promised mountain view – we were staring at a concrete wall instead.

The food was fantastic – honestly the best I've had. Breakfast was super fresh, with warm bread and everything. Couldn't ask for more.

The Alm is pretty neat, clean, and modern, and the staff are always up for a chat. The food was top-notch and the prices line up with Munich. The rooms stayed warm, but the bedrooms were freezing, so the heating bottles were a lifesaver. The mattress is pretty hard, and I wish the breakfast info mentioned that eggs with or without bacon aren’t included, though hot drinks are covered in the price.

The hut is beautifully renovated, with a breathtaking view and a lot of quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very attentive.
