The wooden bungalow was very beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The man who handled reception and housekeeping was kind, and the owner was responsive and available. The lack of a garden and greenery was a downside, and the muezzin shouted on a loudspeaker before 6 am and several times after 7 pm, which was really unpleasant.

The bungalow was spacious and charming, with a very comfortable bed, a great duvet and pillows, a hot shower, a fridge, kettle, luggage rack, and TV. The host was friendly, leaving two bottles of water and fresh toilet roll daily, and offered motorbike rentals. The property sits in a residential area, so if you don’t drive it’s not ideal—over 3 km from the main seafront strip where restaurants, bars, and the beach are, and taxis are hard to get via Grab, Bolt, or local drivers, costing about 150 baht if you’re lucky. The nearest 7/11 is a 15‑minute walk. The rate of €32.50 per night is quite steep, one of the highest I’ve paid during four months travelling Thailand.

The common areas and the room’s balcony were very pretty. The price is too high for what’s offered, and it’s too far from the centre.
