We were heading to St Fagans museum, so the location was perfect; parking outside was easy, and the property stayed clean and comfy. It was great—nothing to improve.

The accommodation was very comfortable, the hosts were attentive, and free parking was available on the road outside the property.

The owners were friendly; they had cancelled all other bookings but not this one, so they weren’t expecting us, but within 20 minutes of calling, the room was cleaned and ready. The room was hot, but a big fan was provided; a blind over the door would help.

We found the place exactly as described, but the room was far smaller than we expected; it was well stocked with soaps and other essentials. The heat was intense during our stay and the fan didn’t help at all. Security lights outside shone brightly at night, casting light into the room. The single window offered almost no ventilation and faced the host’s garden with what looked like children's play equipment; there was no real outdoor area. The neighbourhood turned out to be a housing estate.
