“Ok-ish, but would not come back”
The owner was very friendly and the place is in a great spot. When I arrived, the owner told me the room I had booked was occupied by an elderly woman who couldn't access it, so I was moved to another room that was decent but not what I would have chosen for myself. I was exhausted and just wanted a shower and rest, so I had no real choice. The owner could have mentioned this earlier instead of only after I got there. The room itself was not fully functional: the bathroom sink was unstable and the tap would wobble, so I had to wash my face in the kitchen sink. The room was in the attic, so I had to duck a lot and watch my head because I'm tall and could hit my head on hanging items. I also found orange stains on one of the towels provided. On my last night, I spotted a cockroach in the bathroom.
