Near the town centre, the room and bathroom were spotless. But there were no other facilities except the room and bathroom, and the place was fully locked down except for the “opening time” between 17:00 and 19:00. The front door was always locked, no staff on site outside that window, no Wi‑Fi because cabling work was happening in town, no glasses in the room, and they charged a ridiculous €20 for a single night with a dog.

The large bathtub and the old staircase’s vibe, plus the view into the attic from room 6, were nice. But the old, uncomfortable bed, the full wardrobe, the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned for nine days, the dog‑poop smell outside the hotel, the steep steps in the stairwell, and the TV with only two visible channels were all problems.

The building’s architecture has character and the décor is very tasteful with luxurious transformations: bravo. It’s in the centre of everything and a place to park a motorcycle. There is no lunch on site and, most importantly, no wardrobe for clothes.
