“Rien à dire à part que y’avait pas d’eau chaude et pas de Clim”
The room was comfortable, but there was no hot water and no air conditioning.
“Séjour écourté car hôtel insalubre et même plus !”
The hotel had no air‑conditioning even though temperatures were hovering around 40 °C, and there was no hot water – we were told the outage was indefinite – none of which was mentioned at booking, plus we found a few cockroaches in the bathroom, which was horrendous. We had paid for three nights but left after the first because of these issues, losing the remaining two nights, and the owner made no effort to remedy the problems; even after emailing him, we never received a reply. As senior travellers we’ve stayed in all sorts of places without trouble, and this was the first time we encountered such a terrible situation.
“Didn’t sleep a wink felt unsafe couldn’t wait till the morning”
The only bright spot was a young lady who helped us get a taxi in the morning; otherwise the room was basic and didn’t match the pictures, the clientele was as we heard, people were having sex, loud music went on until 4 am, we couldn’t find the remote until morning, sticky residue was on a site cabinet, we felt unsafe enough to put cases against the door, rubbish vending machines were everywhere, and the shower was leaking.
“Première expérience sur Paris et je sais déjà que c'était une des pires que je ferais.”
