The place is clean and close to Taksim Square with friendly staff, yet the room has no working AC, early‑morning prayer calls from the mosque make it impossible to keep the windows open, occasional loud vent noise in the bathroom, and basic items like toothpaste and an iron are missing.

The location was excellent, but the shower didn’t work properly at first; after they moved us to a second room it was much better.

Despite being centrally located (Taksim Square is a 3‑minute walk), the street was quiet and the room was clean; it may not match the level of chain hotels, but for a 2‑3 star standard it’s very respectable, and as advertised, rooms are non‑smoking so there was no odor—a rarity in Turkey. The air‑conditioning control panel was broken, but we didn’t bother to ask staff to fix it because we were only there to sleep.

What I really liked about the place was the huge room – it offered plenty of space for my stuff and never felt cramped. The balcony was a major highlight, absolutely amazing. The amenities were generally good, with a fridge and a kettle for coffee or other drinks whenever I wanted. Overall, everything needed for a pleasant stay was there. On the downside, a few small issues bothered me: the toilet flush didn’t work properly, and I expected a bit more effort on cleanliness, as there were still some spots and the towel had stains. The TV was also not very useful, with hardly any interesting programs.
